Rich and intense with a solid structure. Clear, ruby color, with the aroma of red fruits and wild berries. This particular year was unseasonably dry, moving the harvest 2 weeks prior to the anticipated date.

Herdade de Esporão

Located a 2 hour drive from the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, this winery contains 691,9 hectares of vineyards.

Alentejo Wine

This region was the first in Portugal to export wines to Rome. There are 8 subregions: Reguengos, Borba, Redondo, Vidigueira, Évora, Granja-Amarelejà, Portalegre, and Moura. This region also includes wines made in the vinho de talha style, where the wine is fermented in clay pots topped with olive oil.
